About Me

Hi! My name is Eric Ruan.

I am currently a Junior studying Computer Science at Stony Brook University.

Currently, I am working as a Research Aide at Department of Biomedical Informatics here at SBU. I work with Palantir software to build data pipelines using PySpark to clean COVID-19 data.

I am also involved in the Web Genomic Project under Dr. Moffitt, building web applications to analyze genomic data in order to help researchers pinpoint genes associated with certain cancer types.

I am interested in web development, particularly the MERN stack, and Android development.
